Many campgrounds and hotel/motels are located within a short distance of RVTC as well as accomodations for those who do not have RVs. *FYI: Sometimes campground may indicate that they are full but there are usually vacancies available...We cannot be responsible for accomodations you make wth the business listed above.. | What kind of training will I receive? |
| Recreational Vehicle Training Center, Inc. strives to provide an extensive 10-week curriculum and we are the only short-term school in the U.S. to offer hands-on training using on-site RVs to learn how to perform quality service and repairs in the growing RV industry. This course prepares students to become Master Certified Technicians after one (1) year experience. Additional RVs are added periodically for our "hands-on" training section of our curriculum. Our curriculum is updated each session to include the newest information in the RV Industry. |
| Can certified technicians take segments of our 10-week hands-on certification course to fulfill continuing education requirements for recertification? |

| If I attend RV Training Center will I have the opportunity to work on my own RV as part of my training? Do I have to own an RV to take the RVTC course? |
| We use onsite RVs & travel trailers for our hands-on training but you may have the option of learning about your own RV to gain valuable experience needed in the RV industry. It is not necessary to own a RV to attend our course. Many RV owners take our course to learn to work on their own RVs |
| What sets RV Training Center apart from other certifications? |
| In my previous employment as a RV instructor, my students' biggest complaints were that they knew how to repair and service training aids but didn't know where it went in an RV. So when I started RV Training Center, I brought in RVs for students to do "hands-on" training. This is what sets us apart. Using onsite RVs gives students actual experience by allowing them to work on new and old RVs to diagnose, take out if necessary, service and repair the problem. We also have shop projects and a tractor trailer load of training aids. The RV industry is growing and desperately needs qualified, certified RV technicians and we strive to meet that need as well as make training interesting and enjoyable. With the struggling economy, some RVers are keeping their RVs, buying used ones, as well as new RVs, creating an increasing amount of work for the RV service industry. The RV industry as a whole is making a big comeback. |

| Are there any other certifications offered at RV Training Center? |
| Yes, at the end of RV Training Center's 10 week certification course, students are given our certification test. The next day following our certification test, students are given the opportunity to take the RVDA/RVIA certification test also. |

| *RV Training Center graduation luncheon/dinner celebration for presentation of certification plaques is usually held the day after our certification test to give students a chance to study for the RVIA/RVDA testing on Saturday. Plan on staying around for an enjoyable time! |
